  • The Role
  • We’re looking for a Talent & Operations Specialist to own and optimise both hiring and people operations across Geomiq. You’ll manage the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to contracts, and offboarding - ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and team members across Portugal, China, India, and the UK.
  • You’ll work closely with the CEO, Finance and general managers in each hub to build a structured, data-informed, and scalable people function.
  • Hiring
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across Product, Sales, Engineering, Data, and Operations
  • Run hiring manager intake calls and provide market insights to guide hiring decisions
  • Create interview kits and maintain role-specific scorecards
  • Track and analyse hiring data within Teamtailor (ATS) to improve conversion and quality of hire
  • Manage candidate communication and feedback for a smooth experience
  • Update and maintain our Careers page in Teamtailor, ensuring our Career page and LinkedIn reflect our AI-first story
  • People Operations
  • Oversee onboarding to ensure new hires are productive within their first two weeks
  • Support offboarding, including exit interviews, reference letters, and transitions
  • Create and manage offer letters, contracts, and employee documentation such as employee handbooks etc
  • Maintain clean HR data in CharlieHR (HRIS)
  • Run automated monthly performance reviews within the HRIS and ensure completion
  • Collaborate with Finance and general managers in each hub on contracts, payroll, and compliance
  • Continuously refine people processes to keep them efficient, scalable, and clear

Tools

  • Teamtailor (ATS), CharlieHR (HRIS), Deel, Slack, Google Workspace, Confluence, LinkedIn Recruiter or Lite
  • What You’ll Bring
  • 2–4 years of experience in talent acquisition, people operations, or HR coordination, ideally in a fast-scaling startup
  • Hands-on experience managing recruitment pipelines and HR data in tools such as Teamtailor, CharlieHR, or similar ATS and HRIS systems
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent follow-through
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities while keeping processes structured and efficient
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on accuracy, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones and cultures
