About This Opportunity: This is a paid qualification call where we'll discuss a potential long-term partnership. To make the best use of our time together, I'm specifically looking to connect with designers who have a client project ready to move into manufacturing in the near term (ideally within the next 30 days). If you have a client who's ready for production now, this call will be extremely valuable - we can discuss their specific project and how we'd work together. If your clients are further out, we might want to connect later when the timing is better for both of us. What This Partnership Looks Like: • You handle design work for your clients • Once design is complete, I handle everything from factory selection to production in China • You receive 25% commission on our management fees for every project from clients you refer - including repeat orders • Our typical project fees range from $2,000-$4,000+ depending on complexity • Average project generates ~$1,000 commission to you for making the introduction • All payments processed through Upwork • Your clients get professional manufacturing support, you get passive income, I get qualified leads The Qualification Call (What We'll Discuss): This 30-minute call focuses on partnership fit and your current client needs: 1. Your client project - We'll discuss a specific client who needs manufacturing (product category, production volume, timeline, technical requirements) 2. How we'd collaborate - Communication process, introduction protocol, how you'd position manufacturing support to your clients 3. Partnership structure - Commission terms, payment process, expectations on both sides 4. Next steps - If there's good fit, we'll discuss introducing me to your client Compensation: This will be a paid 30-minute qualification call. To ensure this is valuable for both of us, I'm looking for designers who can discuss a specific manufacturing-ready client project that meets these criteria: • Client has completed or near-complete design • Production volume: 500+ units minimum • Manufacturing needed within next 90 days • Product requires tooling, molds or overseas production Ideal Designer Profile: ✅ You regularly work with serious clients who manufacture physical products (not just prototypes for fundraising or crowdfunding campaigns) ✅ At least 50% of your clients move to production after design completion ✅ You have DFM (Design for Manufacturing) experience ✅ Your clients produce in quantities requiring overseas manufacturing (MOQ 500+) ✅ You have a client who's ready to start production in the next 90 days What I Bring: • 20+ years on-ground China manufacturing experience • Direct factory relationships across major manufacturing regions • Supplier verification, factory audits, quality control systems • Production management from samples to shipment • Transparent pricing (no hidden markups on factory quotes) • Experience across consumer products, electronics, textiles, packaging, and more You can learn more about our work and see client testimonials at onsourcing.co
