I need legal assistance to handle a dispute with the condominium administration of a residential building in Portugal. The matter concerns the installation of an electric vehicle (EV) charging point in my private parking space inside the condominium garage. Here’s a summary of the situation: A registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt was sent to the condominium administration on August 5, 2025, formally communicating my intention to install a charger, in full compliance of Decree-Law, as amended by Decree-Laws 90/2014 and 170/2022. The condominium did not reply within 30 days, which — under the law — implies consent to proceed with the installation. Despite that, the administration is now refusing the installation, claiming that the electrical capacity is “fully used”, yet no technical proof or load analysis was ever provided. Several other residents already have EV chargers connected to the same common electrical panel, none of which were approved in a general assembly, showing unequal treatment. A licensed electrician has confirmed that the installation is compliant, safe, and within technical limits. I would like legal assistance to: - Review the case under Portuguese and EU condominium/energy regulations; - Confirm whether the administration’s refusal is legally valid; - Draft a formal legal letter (in English or Portuguese) demanding that the administration: - provide valid technical evidence of capacity exhaustion, or cease obstructing the installation;
