  • About You
  • You have 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a solid understanding of different insurance products.
  • You are fluent in Portuguese and English (Portuguese for customer interactions, English for internal communication and documentation).
  • You hold a PDEADS Certificate and fully meet the regulatory requirements to operate in this space.
  • You have a customer-first mindset, with a proven ability to empathise, communicate clearly, and deliver high-quality service.
  • You have strong analytical skills, and feel confident interpreting policy details and providing informed recommendations.
  • You are self-motivated, organised, and comfortable navigating complex workflows in a fast-changing environment.
  • You’re a collaborative team player, happy to work cross-functionally and share insights with others.
  • You are adaptable and open to learning, especially as the insurance landscape continues to evolve.

  • Experience with health and life insurance a plus.
  • A track record as a skilled negotiator, securing advantageous terms with insurance partners.
  • Sales exposure or experience working closely with sales teams in insurance or financial services.
  • The Role
  • As an Insurance Specialist, you will act as a portfolio manager, owning a client base and ensuring long-term success.
  • On a typical day, you will...
  • Be the go-to expert on health insurance, advising clients on the best coverage options, managing renewals, and helping them navigate the insurance landscape with confidence.
  • Bring your technical knowledge to client conversations, explaining policy details, and answering complex questions around coverage.
  • Troubleshoot insurance-related challenges, applying your product and process expertise to resolve issues, remove blockers, and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Lead the activation and migration of clients from other brokers, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience in coordination with the Ops team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, and Tech teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Share feedback with the Product & Tech teams, helping us improve our health insurance offering and internal workflows based on client needs and market trends.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments, from regulatory changes to new product opportunities.
  • Salary range
  • Our offers are based on the annual salary cost for the company and for this position, we have a budget of 30.000€ to 38.000€.
  • Translating to everyday language, it would be a total gross package of 21.000€ up to 28.000€ plus other benefits you can check below.
