- Job Description
- We are looking for a Data Domain Officer.
Main tasks and goals
- •Lead and manage operationally ClientTaxOffice data governance activities and will have responsibility for improving the quality and value of core data assets (Critical Data Elements).
- •The position will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to group Data Management Framework for data policies, standards and practices, both at the department and Business and Functional areas level, to achieve the required level of consistency, and quality.
- •Work closely with the CIB business, Data referential IT teams, stakeholder management, team player, excellent communicator and executive presence.
- Data quality monitoring
- •Define and implement Data Quality indicators (DQIs) and associated controls for his perimeter
- •Monitor the quality level on a regular basis and identify gaps or anomalies
- •Raise alerts if the data quality is below expected standards
- Operational implementation
- •Perform corrective actions decided in Data Quality Committee and/or Evolution & remediation committees or defined by the Data Owner and Data Domain Owner
- •Perform data quality checks within tools or processes
- •Ensure proper tracking of DQIs
- Qualifications
- •Hands-on experience working with Data management and data quality
- •At least 3-5 years of experience in data management working in a complex data environment, across multiple data domains, complex data relationships, high transaction environment, preferably in a bank.
- •CIB and Asset Management domain experience is a big plus.
- •Appetite for tax regulation and data-oriented topics
- •Engineering/developer background is a plus. (proficiency in SQL)
- •Data analytics background is a plus (algorithmic logic)
- •Understanding Tax regulatory requirements of multiple regions preferably within a banking environment.
- •Prior experience of working in an agile environment.
- Data quality monitoring
- •Strong understanding of the business processes and sub-processes of his/her scope
- •Good knowledge of the IT tools within the perimeter
- •Ability to identify and escalate meaningful data quality issue
- Operational implementation
- •Attention to detail, rigor and operational reliability
- •Ability to follow structured processes and document results
- •Problem-solving ability to process effective remediation on his/her scope
- •Good communication skills to lead remediation on his/her processes
